Louisville football has already seen 17 players enter the Transfer Portal, and the latest, Isaac Brown, is the biggest loss yet. The Cards have already lost Duke Watson and Shaun Boykins Jr. to the portal, and now that Brown has entered, Louisville fans are fearing who else might follow.

Louisville’s offense is relatively thin at the moment as the Cards have already lost their top seven receivers, including three to the portal, one of its top tight ends, and now lost three of its top four running backs. And on top of that, they lost their top three quarterbacks to the portal or to eligibility issues. So, with the Transfer Portal opening up tomorrow, and Louisville fans just getting gut-punched by Brown, here are five Louisville Cardinals on Transfer Watch after Issac Brown entered the Transfer Portal.

5. Davon Mitchell

The Cardinals' tight end room already is thinner after Nate Kurisky entered the portal, and now it is worth keeping an eye on Mitchell as the portal is just hours away from opening. Louisville needs targets on the outside, and with the Oklahoma transfer being a freshman and a former 4-star recruit, he would add depth to Louisville’s tight end room.

However, with incoming 4-star sensation Julius Miles, Davon Mitchell will have a harder time earning some playing time at tight end. Miles has been listed as both a wide receiver and a tight end in the recruiting class, and is currently ranked as high as the No. 180 recruit in the nation and the No. 10 tight end in the 2026 class. Mitchell transferred to Louisville from Oklahoma, and after last season, he earned just one catch for eight yards, and junior Jaleel Skinner was the main guy.
