4. Cooper Ranvier
Louisville has two kickers returning next season, and with Cooper Ranvier, a freshman, and Nick Keller, a junior, we are putting Ranvier on the transfer watch. A lot of programs will need a new kicker, and besides that Clemson game, Ranvier was a reliable kicker for the Cardinals. He broke the program's record for most made kicks by a freshman, and made 84 percent of his field goals in 2025.
Ranvier made 39 of his 41 attempts last season, and 21 of 25 field goals. As a freshman, he is trending toward being a reliable kicker for multiple years, as he went 19-20 on field goals under 50 yards. So, while that Clemson game was a disaster, he did have an overall solid year for a freshman, and the Cards could use a kicker they can rely on for at least three more years.
