3. F Khani Rooths
Khani Rooths is a former four-star recruit out of Washington, D.C., and has tremendous potential entering next year. He was ranked unanimously in the top 40 in the class of 2024 and was a key commitment that helped Louisville become relevant again. However, after McKneely's commitment, it is clear that the rotation and minutes will hit Rooths big time.
The Cardinals' lineup is extremely deep as of now, and one of these returning players is expected to test the transfer portal. Rooths seems to be impacted by McKneely the most out of the forwards returning. The former 4-star recruit will most likely come off the bench next season, and after this commitment, his minutes will be severely impacted.
It is expected that Pryor, Fru, and Scott will be above Rooths in the rotation, so now that another player has committed, the Cardinals' bench is starting to fill out. Since he was highly ranked out of high school, it wouldn't be shocking if he decided to transfer to a program where he would earn more minutes and even possibly become a starter.
