3. Keyjuan Brown
One could argue that Keyjuan Brown might have benefited more statistically if Isaac Brown had transferred to Texas. In the two games Isaac missed, Keyjuan rushed for 136 yards against Cal and 135 yards against Clemson, averaging 9.35 yards per carry in those contests. That said, there’s also a strong argument that Keyjuan benefited from the foundation Isaac helped establish.
With Isaac returning, the wear and tear on Keyjuan is reduced, increasing the chances he stays healthy throughout the season. After recording 96 carries for 704 yards, Keyjuan can spell Isaac consistently without the offense losing a step—especially late in the year. Most successful college programs, and nearly every NFL team, now rely on a two-back model. Louisville’s success will hinge on the Brown-and-Brown tandem. The “Law Offices of Isaac and Keyjuan” should only make each other better as the season progresses.
