3. Miller Moss
Louisville's rushing attack has just taken a massive hit, and it's no secret that the Cardinals' running back, Isaac Brown, is a glaring reason Louisville is 7-1. The Cards' offense has to step up, and one of the players who must is quarterback Miller Moss. The senior will get a lot more pressure now that the preseason All-American is out, which means he has to be smart and take care of the ball.
Moss has seen his load go down the past two weeks because of how dominant the rushing attack has been, but now with Brown out, Louisville might have to throw the ball more than 30 times. Over the last two weeks, Moss threw the ball just 28 and 27 times, thanks to Brown and the company's dominant performances. However, now the quarterback might have to step up and throw the ball 35 times or more, like he did against Miami, Pitt, and Virginia.
With Louisville eyeing a College Football Playoff berth, the Cards need Moss to stay calm in the pocket. He has thrown an interception in four of his last five games, including the past two games. Moss needs to take better care of the ball and avoid forcing bad throws.
