The Transfer Portal deadline has officially passed, and the Louisville Cardinals know who has entered the portal and who is returning for the 2026 season. Jeff Brohm has done a phenomenal job at recruiting from within while also landing big-time players from the portal.
The Cardinals' offseason ranks No. 4 by On3 Sports, which considers not only the players added from the portal but also those teams that have lost. Brohm added key transfers such as Koen Entringer, Lawayne McCoy, Brody Foley, Lincoln Kienholz, Tre Richardson, and many others.
However, the biggest win this offseason was Brohm’s ability to recruit from within. Louisville football avoided many nightmare situations and convinced multiple starters and key players from the 2025 season to return and run it back for one more season.
