5: Stay focused

In the past week, some Louisville players have been talking smack about this game in particular and trying to get the fan base more hyped up than they already are. While this isn't necessarily a bad thing, it could result in the Cardinals overhyping the game too much, which can sometimes lead to an unfocused product on the basketball court.

Staying focused is all the Cardinals need to do right now, while taking down the Cats and ensuring they execute their game plan to absolute perfection. Allowing the "moment" of the game to get into the player's head isn't always a great thing. Kelsey is an excellent coach and always has this team ready, so it will be important not to let the emotions get the best of these players, especially early in the game.

The best form of trash talk is on the scoreboard, and if this team can contain its emotions and play its game, it will have a high chance of winning this rivalry game and ending a three-game losing streak.
