3: 3-pointers are crucial

Three-pointers will be a key for Louisville in winning tomorrow night as well. Cardinals fans are well aware that Pat Kelsey loves his teams to shoot the 3-point ball, even when they are not falling. And this Louisville team is one of the best 3-point shooting teams in the nation; after two games, it is clear that Louisville will live and die by the 3-point line.

Louisville hit a lot of threes against Kentucky last season, and that will need to be the case again for tomorrow night as well. Louisville has some of the best three-point shooters in the nation, including Isaac McKneely, Mikel Brown Jr., and Ryan Conwell, and they need to give them good looks throughout the game.

Louisville has to shoot the rock well tomorrow night from beyond the arc if it wants to come out victorious. The Cardinals' 3-point shooting in transition and getting their shooters open are key areas for this team, and they have demonstrated that they can be lethal from beyond the arc.
