2: Defense has to play physical
In the two regular-season games so far for Louisville, they have looked dominant on defense. However, playing Kentucky is a lot different than playing South Carolina State or Jackson State. Louisville dominated SC State last week by holding them to only 15 first-half points and 45 points during the entire game.
While stats like that look really nice on the stat sheet, it doesn't matter until you pull off that kind of performance against a good opponent. Kentucky could be that good opponent that proves the Louisville defense is just as good as the fans saw in the past week. The Cardinals will need to play physical in this game against Kentucky, especially by not letting the Wildcats beat Louisville on live balls, rebounding, and other hustle stats.
The defensive intensity was something that stood out to many in the first two weeks, and with the Wildcats coming into town tomorrow, they must play with that same intensity.
