3. Xavier Porter | DL | East Tennessee State

Xavier Porter is one of six defensive linemen to hit the Transfer Portal this offseason, and is the third one to find a new home already. Porter committed to Louisville as a 3-star recruit out of high school and was a big-time addition to the Cardinals' 2024 recruiting class.

Louisville earned his commitment over powerhouse programs such as Auburn, Penn State, Tennessee, Michigan, Oklahoma, and Florida State. He was ranked as high as No. 678 overall and No. 76 among defensive linemen. The 6-foot-2, 280-pound defensive lineman committed to Louisville after his junior season, where he logged 50 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, one interception, one pass breakup, and one fumble recovery.

After not earning any snaps on defense and just four on special teams through two seasons, the former 3-star commit entered the Transfer Portal. Earlier this week, Porter announced he committed to East Tennessee State after being ranked No. 1393 overall and No. 146 among defensive linemen in the Transfer Portal.
