Louisville football saw Carter Guillaume enter the Transfer Portal back in December 2025, as he was one of the first ones to enter the portal following the Cardinals' win over Toledo in the Boca Raton Bowl. The Louisville native attended St. Xavier High School, where he committed to Southeast Missouri and had one of the best true-freshman seasons in FCS.
He committed to Louisville via the Transfer Portal last offseason after earning FCS Freshman All-American after starting in 13 games at left guard, earning 1,012 blocking snaps, 707 pass block snaps, and allowed just 10 total pressure, didn’t give up one sack. He was one of the top offensive linemen at the FCS level in 2024 and returned home to Louisville.
However, he earned only 11 offensive snaps at left guard for the Cardinals in 2025, and the Louisville native returned to the portal. Now, he is committed to Oregon State, ranked No. 1,455 overall and No. 124 among interior offensive linemen.
