5. Shaun Boykins Jr. | RB | Montana

Louisville fans saw another Kentucky native commit this week, as the former 3-star commit, Shaun Boykins Jr., committed to Montana. The Radcliff native was one of the fans' favorite players after committing to Louisville as the No. 1,002 overall recruit and the No. 133 wide receiver in the 2024 recruiting class.

Boykins committed to Louisville as a wide receiver but got moved to running back this past offseason. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound running back didn’t see much time this season, but he took full advantage of any chance he got. After Louisville’s running back room got hit with the injury bug, Boykins played in four games, earning 37 carries for 190 yards and one touchdown.

His best game came against Kentucky, where he earned 22 carries for 101 yards and one touchdown. Now, he is committed to Montana, ranked No. 583 overall and No. 52 among running backs.
