Keyjuan Brown

The man of the hour: Keyjuan Brown. After sitting in the shadows for the last few years, his name has been called upon heavily. His breakout has been due to unfortunate circumstances, including injuries to running backs Duke Watson and Isaac Brown, but that’s how it goes sometimes. This team is too talented for it to go to waste, and Brown has picked up the slack.

Brown is already having the best season of his collegiate career, with 321 rushing yards and six touchdowns on the year. He has also been sneaky good in the passing game, with eight catches for 99 yards. This team will be relying on Brown once again this weekend, and that will not be a problem for the sophomore back.

He has waited for this opportunity, and he has taken it and run with it. Watson may be good to go this weekend, but he has battled injuries all season. Even if he is available, Brown should be the lead back. His availability and play have earned him that this season, and he will be a key reason for a win against Cal.
