2. Koen Entringer | S | Iowa
After the 2025 season concluded, Louisville lost key safeties Jabari Mack and D'Angelo Hutchinson. The Cardinals have had one of the best transfer classes in the nation so far, but still need to address their secondary. The Cardinals' first commitment this offseason came from a defensive back, DJ Waller, but Louisville must get some help in the safety position.
Well, it was reported that Louisville was the first program to receive a visit from Iowa transfer Koen Entringer. The Cardinals are one of three teams in a recruiting battle with West Virginia and Texas Tech. The former Iowa transfer logged 73 tackles last season and earned All-Big Ten honorable mention. He also added four pass deflections and one forced fumble.
He now emerges as one of Louisville’s top targets after missing out on Old Dominion transfer Jerome Carter III and others. Entringer ranks No. 129 overall and 12th among safeties.
