Paulius Murauskas

Louisville’s glaring Zougris replacement is the Saint Mary’s transfer Paulius Murauskas. The Cardinals have already been in contact with Murauskas, and after landing Bidunga, he would be a near-perfect fit for the Louisville frontcourt.

Murauskas is an elite scorer, as he can not only use his size and physicality to back his defender down and get an easy bucket, but also make pull-up jumpers, catch-and-shoot jumpers, shoot over his defender, fade away, go off the dribble, and more. The 4-star transfer can space the floor and would be a legit offensive threat for the Cardinals' frontcourt that they want and need.

He averaged 18.4 points and 7.6 rebounds this past season and went on to make the All-West Coast Conference Team. He now ranks No. 8 overall and No. 2 among power forwards.
