Louisville football is currently ranked as the No. 33 best recruiting class in the 2026 cycle. The Cardinals stole Vince Marrow from Kentucky and have been able to significantly improve their recruiting since their 2025 recruiting class, which ranked No. 58 in the nation.
Louisville had its first regular-season game on Saturday against Eastern Kentucky, and the Cardinals reportedly hosted over 80 recruits for gameday visits from multiple recruiting classes. After their massive recruiting weekend concluded, let's break down five recruits who could commit soon if everything went well this weekend.
5. Jeremiah Gray - DL
Vince Marrow and Jeff Brohm hosted two commitments to Big 12 programs this weekend, with one of them being Jeremiah Gray, who committed to the Cincinnati Bearcats in April 2025. The 3-star defensive linemen taking a visit to the Cardinals' first game of the 2025 season, the same weekend his Bearcats played at Arrowhead Stadium against Nebraska, says a lot.
Gray ranks as high as No. 937 in the nation and No. 105 in the defensive linemen position. He is a highly recruited prospect from Michigan, having taken visits to Iowa, Wisconsin, and Kentucky since committing to Cincinnati.
Now, Marrow will try not only to steal him from the Bearcats but also to beat out Mark Stoops and earn Gray's commitment after this crucial game-day visit.
