The Cardinals hosted nearly 100 prospects this weekend, but hands down, one of their top targets is the elite wide receiver from the state of Kentucky, Cam Wade. The Paducah native ranks as high as No. 200 in the nation and the third-best prospect out of Kentucky.

Vince Marrow and Jeff Brohm have dominated the state of Kentucky since they joined together, and now Wade emerges as one of their top prospects for the 2027 recruiting class. The 5-foot-11 165 165-pound receiver ranks as high as the 29th best receiver in the 2027 cycle and the No. 3 best player out of Kentucky.

Wade emerges as a recruit who can catapult this program and make Louisville a dominant recruiting school, not just in the ACC but nationwide. The state of Kentucky boasts a wealth of talent in the 2027 recruiting class, and Wade stands out as one of the Cardinals' top targets. On3 Sports gives Louisville the second-best chances before this weekend, and now, after his visit, Marrow can work his magic and beat out some elite SEC schools.
