3. Scooter Jackson
Scooter Jackson from UCLA would be a valuable addition to a Louisville secondary that has multiple seniors leaving. Jackson is entering the transfer portal with two years of eligibility remaining and would be a solid pickup for whatever team he decides to call home next.
Jackson had 44 total tackles last year and led the Bruin defense in interceptions, as he racked up two. Jackson has the honor of being one of Heisman candidate Fernando Mendoza’s only six interceptions this year. The 6-foot-1 defensive back would also tally a forced fumble in his tenure with UCLA.
The Cardinals defended the pass very well this year, allowing only 201 passing yards per game. Keeping this going into next season will be a big goal for Jeff Brohm’s team, and the addition of Jackson could allow the secondary to improve even more.
