5. Defensive line dominates

The Cardinals' defense is one of the most underrated groups in the ACC right now, and they will send a loud message on Saturday. Clev Lubin and this defensive pass rush are going to have a field day, and they will be one of the key reasons Louisville beats Pitt. Last year, the Cardinals had two sacks and seven tackles for a loss, and the Louisville fans should be confident that a similar result will happen.

With the uncertainty of star running back Desmond Reid, Louisville should dominate the trenches and be confident that it can rattle Eli Holstein. The Panthers' offensive line has shown flaws, as they give up 2.67 sacks per game. Against their tough opponent, West Virginia, they gave up a whopping six sacks. Louisville's defensive line is expected to play a massive role in this game, and Lubin is expected to continue dominating.
