2. Kobe Rodgers
Louisville has one of the best backcourts in all of college basketball. However, a significant player is often left out when fans or media bring up the Cardinals' backcourt, and that is Kobe Rodgers. The Charleston transfer came to Louisville with Kelsey but sat out last year due to an injury back in 2024.
Now, he looks to be a key piece on this roster, bringing veteran leadership and serving as the Cardinals' backup point guard. Last year, Louisville desperately needed someone who could handle the ball other than Chucky Hepburn, and this upcoming season, the fans will be pleasantly surprised by Rodgers.
The 6-foot-3 guard averaged 9.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.3 steals per game in 2023-24, while also shooting 50 percent from the floor and 45 percent from downtown. Rodgers is flying under everyone's radar with how stacked Louisville's backcourt is, but the nation will soon be surprised by how good the Cardinals' glaring X-factor is.
