3. Samuel Brown V - Rutgers
Samuel Brown V is someone not many Louisville fans will know, but as a former 4-star RB, he could be a solid backup to Keyjuan. If Louisville can keep Keyjuan and Jennings, Samuel Brown emerges as a cheap, explosive, powerful running back option.
At Rutgers, he never really got the opportunity to shine, earning just 205 carries across four seasons. He logged a total of 829 yards off those 205 carries, averaging 4.0 yards per carry. His best season was his true freshman year, when he carried 86 times for 374 yards and three touchdowns. But after that season, his name got called less and less, forcing him to enter the portal.
He was a 4-star recruit out of La Salle College High School, where he ranked as high as No. 374 in the nation. He had offers from big-time programs like Tennessee, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Nebraska, Michigan State, and others. He received 21 offers out of high school and is now ranked as high as No. 852 in the Transfer Portal.
