The Cardinals are among many Power Four teams to reach out to ACC star and Syracuse transfer Darrell Gill Jr. The former Cuse receiver entered the Transfer Portal and is immediatley one of the top receivers in the portal after his three seasons with the Orange.
Gill has logged 70 catches for 1,136 receiving yards and eight touchdowns in his three seasons with the Syracuse Orange. Last year, he had a career season, earning career highs in receptions and touchdowns. In the 2025 season, he caught 32 passes for 506 yards and five touchdowns, after catching 31 passes for 570 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
He has now been contacted by Michigan, Miami, Indiana, Kentucky, and many more. Gill is ranked as high as No. 24 on the portal and No. 5 among wide receivers.
