Louisville football is trending with the star wide receiver Tre Richardson. The Vanderbilt transfer entered the portal not too long ago, and with the Cardinals striking out on Jayce Brown, Richardson emerges as a perfect replacement target. The former Vanderbilt star wide receiver had a key role in the Commodores' offense last year with Heisman candidate Diego Pavia.
With Louisville already adding its starting QB in Lincoln Kienholz, the Cardinals are hoping they can find a way to earn Richardson’s commitment after his breakout season. Making the jump from JUCO to FBS, Richardson led Vanderbilt in receptions with 46 catches and receiving yards with 806, and receiving touchdowns with seven.
Richardson ranks as high as the No. 11 wide receiver in the portal and the No. 52 player in the Transfer Portal.
