Kwame Evans Jr. immediately caught Louisville basketball fans' eyes when he entered the Transfer Portal. The former 5-star Oregon commit ranked as high as No. 15 in the 2023 cycle and No. 4 among power forwards, and now, after three seasons with the Ducks, he is in the portal.

The 6-foot-10, 220-pound power forward started in all 30 games last season for the Ducks, averaging 13.3 points while shooting 45.4 percent from the field. On top of scoring the ball, Evans is an elite two-way player, averaging 7.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.3 blocks, and 1.0 steals per game.
The 4-star transfer plays with the physicality the Cardinals desperately needed last season, and emerges as one of the top replacements for Sananda Fru. Evans now ranks as high as No. 12 in the Transfer Portal and No. 4 among power forwards.
