3. Isaiah Coleman
Louisville lost its top three scorers from last season and will need to replace their production on and off the court. Chucky Hepburn, Terrence Edwards Jr., and Reyne Smith were vocal leaders on Pat Kelsey's team and key veterans.
A great guard that the Cardinals have reached out to and must try to land is Seton Hall's transfer, Isaiah Coleman. The Pirates transfer averaged 15.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.5 steals while shooting nearly 40 percent from the floor. The guard will be a junior next season and looks to be an elite two-way player in the league. The Cardinals must replace Hepburn, the ACC Defensive Player of the Year. Coleman would be a perfect defensive guard who can score at an elite level.
Coleman had six games last season with three or more steals and two with four steals. On the other side of the court, he had eleven games with 20 points or more, including the best game of his season with 27 points, nine rebounds, and two steals while shooting 64.3 percent from the floor.
This two-way guard is perfect for Kelsey and someone who plays like Hepburn. He would bring great leadership and skills that the Cardinals desperately need next season. Although he didn't shoot the ball well last season, in his freshman campaign, he hit the ball at a 47.5 percent rate.
Louisville will most likely be a big contender in the transfer portal for Coleman and would be a key addition for both ends of the court.
