4. Javien Toviano

With Louisville losing Rowsey to the Transfer Portal, the Cardinals should try to elevate the position and reach out to former LSU safety Javien Toviano. The 2023 recruit has tons of upside to his game, and pairing his ability to track the ball and physicality with Koen Entringer would create an elite secondary for the Cardinals.

Toviano is a former consensus 4-star recruit out of high school who ranked as high as No. 59 in the nation and No. 5 among safeties. He finished his high school career with 19 pass breakups, five forced fumbles, and three interceptions, along with an impressive 105 tackles.

He will now try to be a starting safety after playing in just four games last season and 38 games throughout his career at LSU. With Louisville desperately needing safety depth, the Cardinals should try to find a way to bring the 4-star to Louisville after he earned 50 tackles, one pass breakup, and a forced fumble with the Tigers.
