3. Markeith Williams
Louisville has already landed one Miami transfer in Daylen Russell, so why not try to make it two with Markeith Williams? The Miami transfer is one of the best safeties available after he entered the Transfer Portal after spending his first three seasons with the Hurricanes.
Williams is a former 4-star recruit out of high school who ranked as high as No. 246 in the 2022 recruiting class and No. 19 among safeties. The Cardinals were one of 20 teams to extend an offer to him in high school, and now that he is available again and is in need of a safety, they should try to bring him to Louisville.
In high school, he had an impressive campaign, including his sophomore year, when he had 73 tackles and seven interceptions. He also had 75 tackles his junior year and six interceptions his freshman year. He now ranks No. 992 overall, 91st among safeties, and is the fifth-best safety available. At Miami, he played in 28 games, including every game in 2025, and totaled 31 tackles and 2 pass deflections over his three years.
