One of the top safeties the Cardinals are in contact with is the Kansas safety Lyrix Rawls. The former Oklahoma State commit spent his first three seasons with the Cowboys, then transferred to Kansas last year and earned his breakout season. Now, he is back in the portal and is one of the top-ranked safeties in the portal.
Last year, the Kansas safety logged 72 tackles, seven pass deflections, and one interception for the Jayhawks. Now, he is ranked as the 26th best safety and the No. 311 player in the Transfer Portal. Louisville is in a massive recruiting battle as Rawls has been in contact with at least 24 teams.
Of the teams to contact, the elite transfers are Clemson, Penn State, and Florida State. With Louisville losing key pieces in its secondary, especially in the safety position, a player like Rawls would be a big-time splash for Brohm.
