1. Tre Richardson | WR | Vanderbilt
Louisville football is reportedly immediatley in the mix for one of the top wide receivers in the portal. The Cardinals quickly got in contact with 4-star wide receiver and Vanderbilt transfer Tre Richardson. The former Commodore will enter the portal after spending just one season with Clark Lea, following his breakout year.
He committed to Vanderbilt after spending his first two seasons playing JUCO, including his freshman season, when he caught 52 passes for 983 yards and 11 touchdowns. He then played at Vanderbilt his junior season, where he logged 40 catches for 806 yards and seven touchdowns.
Louisville lost Caullin Lacy, and when he was playing in JUCO, Richardson was an elite special teams player. Louisville is in an early recruiting battle with Texas for a Vanderbilt transfer who is ranked as high as No. 53 in the portal and the 11th-best receiver.
