Louisville should make Notre Dame transfer Kenny Minchey its top quarterback target. A former 4-star and top-200 recruit, Minchey competed with CJ Carr for the starting spot last offseason. Now in the transfer portal, he fits both fan expectations and Louisville’s needs.
He is currently ranked as the No. 6 recruit in the Transfer Portal, meaning he will be a top target. However, if the money is right and his price isn’t too high, Brohm and the Cards should go after this elite transfer. He is the No. 4 QB in the portal at the moment, and with Louisville likely not going after Dylan Raiola, DJ Lagway, and Brendan Sorsby, Minchey could be the top target for Louisville.
The redshirt sophomore will have two more years of eligibility left, and last season he completed 76.9 percent of his 26 passes while throwing 196 yards. It will be a reach for Louisville to get Minchey, depending on his price, but he is worth calling.
