2. Malcolm Simmons
If Louisville does strike out Graham and Moore, a good option to target then is the Auburn transfer Malcolm Simmons. The former Auburn transfer has had two solid seasons with the Tigers in his first two years, and with Louisville in need of another wide receiver, Simmons opens as a good option.
Simmons is a former 4-star who ranked as high as No. 150 in the 2024 recruiting class and was the No. 29-ranked wide receiver. He quickly made a name for himself with Auburn, logging 40 catches for 451 receiving yards and three touchdowns. This past season, he saw fewer targets, earning just 28 catches and two touchdowns, but set a career high with 457 receiving yards.
Simmons would be a big-time get, but the Cards would have to reach out soon and try to get involved as soon as possible. He is ranked No. 88 in the Transfer Portal and No. 20 among wide receivers.
