2. Keyjuan Brown, RB
Keeping Keyjuan Brown is nearly as important. The sophomore has emerged as another explosive, home-run threat out of the backfield, giving Louisville one of the most dynamic running back duos in the country when both are healthy.
He’s averaging 6.5 yards per carry for his career and has posted his best season yet — nearly 600 yards on just 81 carries with six touchdowns. He logged career highs in every stat as he earned 81 carries for 592 yards.
It will be essential for Louisville to keep Brown and do whatever it can to prevent him from entering the Transfer Portal. He’s often been overshadowed by Isaac Brown, and another season could elevate his draft stock. Brown would likely become an RB1 somewhere if he does transfer, and if he wants to try and play in the NFL, he could be convinced to hit the portal. Keeping “Brown and Brown” together massively stabilizes the offense and gives Brohm a strong foundation while searching for a new starting quarterback.
