Conference play is closing in the 2025 season as their is just about seven games left for the majority of the teams, and only a month remaining before the ACC Tournament.
According to Joe Lunardi, five teams from the ACC will make the March Madness, and Duke and Louisville basketball are leading the charge. This past week saw chaos, with upsets happening all week long.
Let's break down this past week for every team, and run through the latest power rankings for the ACC.
18. Miami Hurricanes

Miami ended their 10 game winning streak as they secured their lone ACC victory so far over Notre Dame, 63-57. Miami went 1-1 this week, as they are now 1-11 in ACC play and 5-18 for the whole season.
17. North Carolina State Wolfpack

North Carolina State lost to Stanford and Cal this week, making their losing streak up to eight games, and have lose 10 of their last 11. The Wolfpack are now 2-10 in conference play and 9-14 overall.
16. Boston College Eagles

Boston College went 0-2 past week, making them drop their last eight of nine. Eagles are now 2-10 in ACC games, 10-13 for the season, and will look to end this depressing losing streak against either Notre Dame of North Carolina State next week.
15. Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Notre Dame falls again, as the Fighting Irish drop their two games this week to Florida State and Virginia Tech. Notre Dame is now 4-8 in conference play, and 10-13 overall. Irish are trending to being on the outside looking in for ACC Tournament.
14. Pitt Panthers

Pitt continue to slide in these rankings, as they lose to Virginia and North Carolina this past week, making them on a three game losing streak. Panthers have lost seven of their last nine game and drop to 5-7 in ACC games and 14-9 for the season.
13. Syracuse Orange

Syracuse goes 1-1 in the last seven days as they secured a win over Boston College, but nearly lost by 30 to Cooper Flagg and Duke at home. The Orange are now 5-8 in ACC and 11-13 for the season.
12. Cal Golden Bears

Cal defeated NC State by double digits but fell to the Demon Deacons this week, making the Golden Bears go 1-1. Cal has dropped their last three of four and are now 5-8 in the conference and 12-12 overall.
11. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

After defeating No. 21 ranked Louisville last week, Georgia Tech picked up another impressive win as they defeated Clemson 89-86. However, the Yellow Jackets fell to Virginia later in week, and now sit 5-8 in the ACC.
10. Virginia Cavaliers

Virginia have won three of their last four, and four of their last 6. Cavaliers won back-to-back games for first time since December after defeating Pitt and Georgia Tech. UVA improves to 5-8 in the ACC gameplay.
9. Florida State Seminoles

Florida State falls to 5-7 in the ACC gameplay after losing four game straight. Seminoles ended their win streak, where they finally picked up a win over Notre Dame, 67-60. Florida State is now 5-7 in ACC and 14-9 overall.
8. Virginia Tech Hokies

Virginia Tech goes 1-1 this week, where they secured a win over Notre Dame Saturday, but fell to SMU in a close, 81-75 battle. Hokies have won three of last four and improve to 6-7 in the conference games.
7. North Carolina Tar Heels

North Carolina squeaks by Pitt in a nail bitter to improve on the year to 7-5 in the ACC, and 14-10 for the season. UNC only had one game this week, and will look to pick up a big time win over Clemson next week.
6. Stanford Cardinals

Stanford drops a game against Wake Forest and SMU this past week, and snuck by NC State to go 1-2. Cardinals have lost two of their last three and are now 8-5 in the ACC and 14-9 overall for the year. Cardinals take on Georgia Tech and Duke next week.
5. SMU Mustangs

SMU continues to roll since their loss to Louisville, as Mustangs have won four straight, including going 2-0 this past week over Stanford and Virginia Tech. Mustangs are now trying to secure the four seed in the ACC Tournament and get that double-bye. SMU 18-5 for the season and 9-3 against ACC teams.
4. Wake Forest Demon Deacons

Wake Forest continues this dominant streak, as they go 3-0 this past week with wins over Pitt, Stanford, and Cal. Demon Deacons have won nine of their last 11, and 11 of their last 14. Wake Forest is 10-3 in ACC and 18-6 for the season.
3. Clemson Tigers

Clemson secured the biggest win of the ACC so far this season, as the Tigers gave Cooper Flagg and Duke their first loss in the conference this season. Clemson is now 11-2 in the conference, 19-5 overall after they did fall to Georgia Tech earlier in the week, 89-86. Tigers went 2-1 this week and look comfortable to secure a double-bye in ACC Tournament.
2. Louisville Cardinals

Louisville 10 game win streak ended, as they fell 77-70 to Georgia Tech, but they picked up two consecutive wins over Boston College and Miami. Cardinals have won 12 of last 13 now and are now 18-6 on the year and 11-2 in conference play. Louisville and Pat Kelsey face North Carolina State and Notre Dame this upcoming week.
1. Duke Blue Devils

Duke's 18 game win streak concluded Saturday night as they fell to Clemson, but the Blue Devils undeniably still control the ACC, but don't get too comfortable Blue Devils fans as the Cardinals are slowly sneaking up. Blue Devils are 12-1 in the ACC and 20-3 for the season. Blue Devils face Cal and Stanford this upcoming week.
