7. Duke Blue Devils
Yes, on paper, Duke is probably better than seven in the ACC, but Duke hasn’t beaten a single ranked opponent this year. They are coming off a nonconference loss to UConn this past week in a game that showed the Blue Devils’ weaknesses. Duke turned the ball over three times and let UConn score twice in the fourth quarter to squeeze past them.
However, Duke has another chance to claim a ranked win as it plays its biggest game of the year against Virginia this week. Both of these teams now have one conference loss, meaning the loser of this game is unlikely to see the conference championship game.
