15. Stanford Cardinal
Stanford has now lost three straight as they dropped Saturday’s game to North Carolina 20-15. Keeping the drive sustainable was hard for the Cardinal as they couldn’t seem to protect quarterback Elijah Brown. North Carolina sacked Brown nine times Saturday, resulting in 73 sack yards. This, along with the two turnovers the Stanford offense had, was a recipe for disaster as they witnessed the game slip away.
Stanford has only managed to score over 20 points once this year and has only held an opponent under 20 points once. The Cardinal has a winnable matchup next week against California, but the Golden Bears will be riding high after a major upset win.
