No. 13: North Carolina Tar Heels

North Carolina squandered another opportunity to get into the win column last night, as they lost a dramatic game to their arch-rival, Duke.

North Carolina has been in this position for multiple weeks now, with chances to win games but unable to have that clutch gene late in games. After losing to Duke, they were unable to make a bowl game, marking a disappointing start to the Bill Belichick era in North Carolina.

No. 12: Florida State Seminoles

Florida State has been on a rocky road in 2025, and it seems that NC State put the dagger in the Mike Norvell era in Tallahassee on Friday night. FSU dropped to 5-6 with that loss, and will need to get a win in Gainesville to become bowl eligible this season.

The highs ended for Florida State after week one when they beat Alabama, and things have just gone downhill from there, in what has been a seriously disappointing season for the Noles.
