College Football Playoff contenders

Miami dominated Stanford 42-7, keeping its CFP chances alive. The Hurricane fans aren't worried about necessarily making it to Charlotte, but just making it in the playoffs. If Miami finishes 11-1, the Hurricanes will be a strong candidate for the CFP, having impressive wins over Notre Dame, Florida, and USF.

Louisville football is right at the top in the ACC power rankings. Louisville is coming off a win over Boston College and has a tough road game this weekend against Virginia Tech. Louisville, of course, saved its season against Miami with that massive win and now has a path to an 11-1 season. Their toughest games are against Clemson and SMU in consecutive weeks, but right now, their mindset is just to leave Lane Stadium with a win.
