As for the Cavaliers, they are finding ways to win, but it feels like they are on major upset alert this weekend at Cal. Virginia barely beat Western Kentucky two weeks ago, 22-20, and then won 17-16 against the 2-5 Tar Heels. They had a big win at Louisville, keeping them in the mix for the CFP, but they have a long way to go before clinching a bye to Charlotte or the playoffs.
Georgia Tech had a scare against Wake Forest back in late September, but besides that, they have won three straight games by two scores or more. The Yellow Jackets travel to North Carolina State, marking this as their last true test against ACC teams. A win this weekend, and Georgia Tech fans might begin buying tickets to Charlotte.
