No. 2: Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are just one of the two undefeated teams left in the ACC after 6 weeks, and while they were on a bye this past Saturday, that doesn't change where they are at the top of the rankings. Georgia Tech has proven to be strong in crunch time so far this season, and that is undoubtedly due to their stifling defense and a courageous offense led by Haynes King, as well as a stout run game.
The biggest question for Georgia Tech is how they might fare against the top teams in the ACC like Miami and Virginia. While they had a top-15 win over Clemson in week two, it now looks like an afterthought, given that Clemson is unranked with a 2-3 record.
No. 1: Miami Hurricanes
The Miami Hurricanes undoubtedly are the best team in the ACC, and they proved it once again with a dominant win over their rival on the road against Florida State this past weekend.
Miami has been bruising teams on offense and defense so far this year, and it looks like a fact already that they will make the ACC championship after the regular season ends. However, Mario Cristobal has had his problems staying great for an entire season, and with plenty of games still left on the schedule, the Hurricanes still have plenty of tough games to get through till the end of November.
