No. 15: Pitt Panthers

Pitt came out of the gates earlier last week and struggled mightily against West Virginia, suffering a 22-point loss to their rival. Pitt came into the game as just 5.5-point underdogs, and losing this badly may be an omen of things to come for Pitt.

However, Pitt has been at least decent under head coach Jeff Capel, and I would expect things to completely unravel for Pitt at this point. We are only three games into the season, but Pitt certainly hasn't come out of the gate swinging.

No. 14: Stanford Cardinal

If you are wondering why Stanford is ranked this low as an undefeated team, it's mainly because Stanford was tied with Montana State with a little over five minutes left in the game. The Cardinal haven't necessarily passed the eye test early on in the season.

In the pre-season, Stanford was not expected to do much, but the fact that they are undefeated does count for something at this point in 2025.
