4. Virginia Cavaliers

The Virginia Cavaliers had their biggest upset in the Tony Elliott era last Friday night, as they beat the No. 8-ranked Florida State Seminoles 46-38 in overtime.

Chandler Morris has proven to be a capable quarterback for the Cavs, and the offense might be one of the best in the ACC after a performance like that. However, Virginia's defense still looked quite suspect throughout the game, and the real test will be to see how they respond after such an emotional win.

Virginia travels to Louisville next Saturday in a huge game against two teams that are undefeated in the ACC standings.

3. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

Georgia Tech survived a scare yesterday against Wake Forest, where they prevailed in overtime 30-29 against the Demon Deacons.

The Georgia Tech offense struggled against Wake for most of the game, trailing by 17 points in the third quarter. But, it seems that it is impossible to keep Haynes King under wraps for a complete football game as the Yellow Jackets finally prevailed in overtime.

The biggest storyline in this game was Tech realizing that they were no longer the hunter, but rather the hunted. Under Brent Key, he has consistently delivered signature upsets against top-tier opponents while struggling against mid-tier ACC teams. But now that his team has finally broken through to the top of the ACC, it will be a test to see how long they can stay there.
