2. Florida State Seminoles
It may seem odd that FSU is still No. 2 in the ACC rankings after losing to a previously unranked Virginia team on the road. However, in that game, if FSU and Virginia played it 10 times, Virginia would win only once, which means that Virginia came away with a once-in-a-lifetime win over a very, very good FSU squad that may be the best one-loss team in all of college football.
The seminoles offense looked as sharp as ever, it was just the defense that gave Virginia the win. The Seminoles remain a CFP contender and a top ACC team, provided they continue to excel against the rest of their ACC schedule.
1. Miami Hurricanes
Is there really much to say why the Miami Hurricanes are No. 1?
Miami is one of the best teams in college football, with a truly dynamic offense and grimey defense. With wins against Notre Dame and dominant wins against Florida and South Florida, it's easy to see why this is one of the best teams in the nation.
The real test will come when Miami travels to Florida State next weekend for what is sure to be one of the best prime-time games of the weekend.
