5. Louisville Cardinals
The Louisville Cardinals faced their first test this week against a (mostly) competitive Pitt Panthers team, and things got off to a rocky start, as they fell behind 17-0. However, the Cardinals found a way to win by holding Pitt scoreless in the second half and winning the football game 34-27.
Miller Moss has been shaky through the first three games, and it looked to be more of the same against Pitt in the first half. However, Moss turned it up in the second half, where he had a total of 4 touchdowns and threw for 339 yards by the end of regulation.
Louisville has faced some challenges, from the offense to at times shaky defense, but the Cards have held strong and are one of the three undefeated teams left in the ACC so far, even if the wins aren't as impressive as those of teams like Miami and Georgia Tech.
