Syracuse continues to trend in the opposite direction as the Orange gave UNC its first ACC win of the 2025 season. It was an ugly Friday night loss for the Orange after Joseph Filardi only threw for 39 passing yards, and the Orange lost 27-10.
North Carolina was finally able to secure its first conference win under Bill Belichick. The Tar Heels earned their third win of the season and improved to 3-5. UNC had two close losses to Cal and Virginia, but was finally able to get over the hump and dominate the Orange on Friday night.
Stanford got off to a hot start against Pitt at home this weekend, but after giving up 28 combined points in the second and third quarters, they had no chance of winning the game. The Cardinal falls to 3-6 on the season and 2-4 in the ACC.
