The Louisville football team continues to trend in the right direction, as they got off to a slow start but found a way to win in a challenging environment. The Cardinals were down 16-7 entering the second half, but after a massive third quarter by Caullin Lacy, the Cards scored 14 points, putting Louisville up 21-16 at the end of the third quarter.
Louisville's defense settled in during the second half and didn't allow a single point in the final two quarters, leading Louisville to a 28-16 win on the road at Lane Stadium. The Cardinals now have a clear path to the CFP and the ACC Championship game, as they were one of the biggest winners this weekend with all the upsets.
