No. 2: Virginia Cavaliers
Virginia finally had their nine-game win streak snapped last Saturday against Duke, where they got steamrolled by 26 points at Cameron Indoor. Virginia has remained very impressive all season and has practically dominated the ACC. While the Cavaliers did lose by 20+ to Duke, they also lost to the best team in all of college basketball, so it cannot be held against them too much.
Virginia will look to get back on track against Wake Forest and Virginia Tech next week, as they aim to lock up the number two seed in the ACC tournament as well.
No. 1: Duke Blue Devils
Duke has been in the number one spot all season long in these rankings, and that doesn't look to change anytime soon, as Duke improved to 28-2 after going 2-0 this week. The Blue Devils demolished Virginia by 26 and their rival, North Carolina State, by 29 on the road as well. Duke has been playing nearly perfect basketball in recent weeks, and that looks to be staying that way under head coach Jon Scheyer.
Duke will be looking to lock up a 29-win season on Saturday when it plays North Carolina. In what will likely be the most-watched game of the day, Duke looks to get revenge on their rivals from their previous meeting.
