The ACC had some close-fought games this weekend from the top teams in the league. With Georgia Tech coming back against Boston College late, and Louisville falling at home on Friday night to Clemson. At the same time, other teams like Pitt and NC State were getting hammered by their opponents.

Virginia, Georgia Tech, and Miami kept their hopes for the ACC championship alive. While SMU, Cal, Stanford, and Syracuse were all on bye.

Pitt had a huge home matchup against Notre Dame yesterday and was absolutely dominated by the Fighting Irish in the game. However, since Notre Dame isn't in the ACC, the loss doesn't count for their record in the ACC standings. Keeping Pitt alive in the race to play for the conference championship.

With Clemson's road victory over Louisville, it took the Cardinals out of ACC championship contention. What looked like a promising season for Louisville has ended up in flames the past two weeks with back-to-back losses to unranked teams.

Here are the ACC power rankings after week 12.
