No. 7: Wake Forest Demon Deacons
Wake Forest has been the most surprising story of the ACC so far this season, as they have far outdone the expectations that were set for them in the preseason.
Wake defeated Virginia on the road last week and followed that up with a home win against North Carolina yesterday. Wake has proven to be a scrappy team that will play hard on defense and run the ball at will in recent games. They will continue to climb if they keep up this level of competitiveness.
