No. 12: Florida State Seminoles
Florida State dominated Virginia Tech last night in a 20-point win, but beating a bad 3-7 team shouldn't grant you any bonus points in these rankings. The Seminoles have been the definition of an "up and down" team this season, as they have dropped games they were supposed to win and won games they were not supposed to win. Besides the win against Alabama in week one, there really isn't anything impressive on Florida State's schedule this year.
Florida State will continue to stay in the middle of the pack until it starts punching its weight class, which a school like FSU should be in. Beating Virginia Tech by twenty isn't impressive, so they aren't moving up much after this weekend.
