Louisville basketball has been trending a lot recently after a couple of experts predicted the Cardinals to win the ACC over the Duke Blue Devils. The Cardinals are expected to take another massive leap this upcoming season and will be led by 5-star Mikel Brown Jr. and the three transfers.
When many experts talk about the Cardinals' additions, Isaac McKneely and Ryan Conwell often receive the most hype and attention. But, finally, a college basketball expert gave 5-star transfer from Kennesaw State, Adrian Wooley, the flowers he deserves.

Expert reminds the nation about Louisville's overlooked 5-star
McKneely and Conwell deserve the spotlight and the attention they are getting. The two guards are two of the best shooters in the nation, and are glaring reasons why Louisville is predicted to contend for a National Title. However, Wooley is also a big reason, and Rob Dauster of Field of 68 is finally sending a warning message to the league.
Wooley was the first transfer to commit to Pat Kelsey and the Louisville Cardinals, and when he committed, he was a top-five recruit in the Transfer Portal. The 5-star transfer appears to be flying under the radar in the nation's eyes, and many college basketball fans are forgetting how dominant he was in his true freshman season.
"Adrian Wooley, that is the wild thing about this," Dauster stated about Wooley being forgotten in the Cardinals' backcourt. "You got a guy at Kennesaw State last year, average 19 points, five boards, three and a half assists, shooting splits of 51,42, and 85. He shot better than five three's a game, shot better than five free throws a game, as a true freshman and a 6-foot-5 point guard, and he is like the forgotten man of the backcourt."
Wooley has a legitimate chance to start next season, towards the end of the year, because of his ability to defend as well. Dauster is finally the first expert to give the 5-star guard significant recognition, and he is entirely right that many fans and experts are forgetting how dominant he was last season.
In his freshman year, he averaged officially 18.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.4 steals per game, while shooting 51.2 percent from the field and 42.2 percent from downtown. He went on to win CUSA Freshman of the Year and earned All-CUSA First Team.
He made 73 3-pointers and 130 free throws, proving he can truly be a dominant two-way player. He can create space for his shots while driving to the rim and finishing through contact. Last season, he scored 20 points or more in 15 of his 33 games, scored 25 points or more in seven games, scored 28 points twice, 29 points once, and his career high was a 32-point performance against Brewton-Parker.
Wooley is going to be an opposing team's nightmare next season. He and Brown playing next to each other with Conwell or McKneely at small forward will be nearly impossible to stop. Dauster is correct about a couple of things. Wooley is flying miles under the radar, and this backcourt is going to be the best in college basketball.
